Part 4

I just uploaded part four of Bride Rights. It should go live in a couple of days. I enjoyed writing from Clarissa's point of view a whole lot. She's a fun character.

There's more plot than sex in this chapter, but the character development is entertaining and my beta reader liked it, so I think it works.

Initially in my head I envisioned one more sex scene in part four, but when I actually wrote it out I found it didn't work like I thought it would. That's always how it seems to go when I write things down. Like, "Great, this makes perfect sense in my head and will all fit together correctly. Oops, the flow of the written scene is all wrong for this, never mind."

Next up, I'm writing the fifth and final part of the series! After that, no more Bride Rights!

The last part will be a ton of character stuff in order to wrap up Alexander's arch. It'll be from Alexander's point of view and will give more context to the choices he's made in the story. I hope it will end in a place that satisfies most readers. I sort of see it as a HEA, though I'll see how it turns out once I've written it.

Yay, it finally posted to literotica! Now I sit here bouncing with excitement, hoping someone reads it.

I'm a thousand words into part four, which is Clarissa's POV. I ADORE Clarissa. The current first line is: Clarissa fucking Dupier had a new plan.

And the final line I've written so far: “Well,” Queen Amice said. “That went well.”

I'm also a thousand words into the other erotica I'm writing, which I haven't settled on a name for yet. It's sort of a free use story about a prince. No lie, I started it thinking I'd make the love interest character sweeter than I've written my other erotica characters so far, but that didn't happen. He collapsed into assholedom pretty fast.

Update on Bride Rights

I've just uploaded the third part of Bride Rights to literotica. Waiting for it to switch from pending to published now.

It's been a while since I've added anything, but the quarantine finally got me some writing time.

I've started writing part four of bride rights. The series is planned to have five parts total, so the plot is moving toward the climax. The series is 13k total right now, and part 3 alone was 6k, so I'm curious to see what the word count ends up being. I'm still thinking I might fix it up and publish it on Smashwords, maybe. I've read about issues with publishing literotica content to the zon, so I think I'll play it safe and avoid that. I have clean content under a different pen name I want to be able to continue to publish there.

I have another idea for an erotica story that I'm really excited about. It'll be similar to Bride Rights with its vague alternate historical era and royalty thing, but it'll only have one POV instead of several. It's got similar domination/submission stuff (because that's my favorite erotica thing), but it'll all be from the subs point of view and be a free use type story.

I don't actually know what category it's going to slot into. It feels less dubcon than Bride Rights, but it's still a bit dubcon. I'll see how it feels after I've written it.

Yay!

I'm 2k into the third part with no end in sight. It's going to be a long one. I probably won't get it finished until I have more time to write on the weekend.

Darn day jobs, taking up all my time.

Pretty happy with what I've written on it so far. It's from Amice's perspective and I'm enjoying learning more about her as a character. Fucking Clarissa isn't in it, because she's been sent off.

Okay, I have a confession. I wasn't sure what to do with Clarissa during the story I wanted to tell in the third part, so that's why she's out of the way for a bit.

The fourth part will be from Clarissa's perspective, though, so don't count her out yet. She's still got stuff to do. Schemes to plot. Trouble to cause.

Not gonna lie, I'm pretty excited about my plan for Clarissa's character. She's become quite the lovable selfish asshole.
